Yes. All cocoa products and shea butter are food-grade. Many are also suitable for cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications. Certificates of Analysis (COA) are available on request for every batch.

Yes. 100% pure, vegan, dairy-free. No preservatives, additives, fillers, or processing aids.

Yes, and the cocoa line is formally certified. Cocoa butter, cocoa mass, cocoa powder, cocoa cake and cocoa nibs carry Halaal certification from SANHA, the South African National Halaal Authority, issued at our partner facility in Tema, Ghana and valid to 30 November 2026. That certificate covers the products at the point of production and is not a certification of our own UK premises. Shea butter is not covered by it. We hold no kosher certification, though every product is 100% plant-based with no animal-derived ingredients or processing aids, so by composition it suits a kosher diet. If your end product requires certified ingredients, ask at quote stage and we will confirm what documentation we can supply.

Yes. Full allergen declarations and processing facility statements are available on request. Our cocoa and shea butter are produced in dedicated facilities in Ghana. For batch-specific allergen documentation, email team@cocoafoundry.co.uk with your order number.

Every cocoa product is sourced exclusively from Ghana. Not blended with beans from other countries. The distinctive bold, complex flavour, fruity and earthy notes, reflects Ghana's cocoa-growing terroir.

Natural Prime Press cocoa butter, single-origin Ghana, unrefined and undeodorised. Cocoa butter as a class typically runs around 33 to 35% stearic acid, and that saturated fraction is what gives it a hard set, a sharp melt, and reliable Form V crystallisation during tempering. Those are published figures for cocoa butter generally, not a batch measurement. What we certify on our own paper, batch by batch, is slip point, free fatty acids, iodine value, saponification value, refractive index and a full microbiological panel, which is what tells you how the material in front of you will behave when you temper or enrobe with it.

No. There is no MOQ on a first order. You can buy a single 100g pack to test a product before committing to volume, and every pack size from 100g to 20kg is available to anyone. Trade buyers normally start with the Taster Pack or a 1kg pack, then scale.

Substantially. Every product is sold in nine pack sizes from 100g to 20kg, and the larger the pack the better the rate. The 20kg pack is the best price available without a quote, and 25kg and above is quoted individually against your volume and delivery postcode. Current prices for all nine sizes are shown live on each product page.

Yes. For regular bulk buyers we set up trade accounts with agreed pricing, flexible scheduling, and recurring supply. Contact the wholesale team to set up an account.

Yes. Free delivery to most UK mainland postcodes on orders over £50. Under £50 it is charged on the weight of the goods in your basket: up to 1kg £4.65 · 1 to 9kg £8.35 · 9 to 19kg £13.85 · 19 to 29kg £23.40. Packaging is already accounted for in the rate you pay at checkout. See the Delivery page for full details.

We hold stock in Chelmsford, Essex. Shop orders ship from the UK, so you are not waiting on a container from West Africa. Orders placed before 1:00pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Only large bulk orders that need fresh production are sourced to order from Ghana, and those lead times are confirmed in your quote.

For orders of 100kg and above, we offer premium local hand-delivery across Chelmsford, Essex, Cambridgeshire, and East London. Handled by our own team, flexible pre-scheduled delivery slots. Contact us to arrange.

Yes. We ship to 28 European countries and to twelve more worldwide, fully tracked and priced on the weight of the goods in your basket. Europe runs from £22.70 for up to 1kg to £76.55 at 9kg. The rest of the world runs from £37.10 to £109.75 at 9kg. For anything above 9kg, email wholesale@cocoafoundry.co.uk with the products and the delivery address and we will quote you directly. Import VAT and duty are not included in the price at checkout. They are charged by your own country when the parcel arrives, and carriers usually add a handling fee. Delivery is typically 3 to 7 working days, though customs delays of up to two weeks are possible. See the Delivery page for full details.

Our largest online pack is 20kg. UK courier bands run up to 30kg per parcel, and heavier orders are split across multiple parcels automatically.

Stock orders typically dispatch within 1 to 2 working days of cleared payment. Larger bulk orders requiring fresh sourcing from Ghana have lead times of 4 to 8 weeks by sea freight, or 7 to 14 days on expedited freight where production timelines demand it. Every wholesale quote includes confirmed lead times for your specific order and delivery postcode.

First wholesale orders are pro-forma (full payment before dispatch). Established trade account holders may apply for 30-day net terms after their third successful order. Bank transfer (preferred), BACS, major credit and debit cards. To set up a trade account, email wholesale@cocoafoundry.co.uk.

Yes. If your production line is at risk we will do whatever it takes, including expedited freight direct from Ghana where it can be arranged.

Return unopened, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Change of mind: return shipping is your responsibility. If we ship incorrect or damaged product, we cover return freight and issue a replacement or refund immediately. Full details on the Returns page.
